Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

Bose is getting a lot of attention for its newly launched Lifestyle Ultra Collection, especially the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, which several reviewers are calling one of the company’s strongest home speaker releases in years.

The standout product is the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, a wireless smart speaker priced at $299. It features:

  • Three-driver audio system
  • Upward-firing speaker for spacious sound
  • Bose TrueSpatial audio processing
  • AirPlay and Google Cast support
  • Multi-room audio compatibility
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Premium fabric-and-metal design finishes

Many early reviews say Bose is directly targeting competitors like Sonos with the new lineup. Reviewers praised the speaker’s combination of strong sound quality, modern smart features, and relatively affordable pricing compared with premium home-audio rivals.

The full Lifestyle Ultra lineup includes:

  • Lifestyle Ultra Speaker — $299
  • Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar — $1,099
  • Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer — $899

Community reaction has been mixed. While many users are excited about Bose returning to premium home audio, some longtime Bose customers on Reddit criticized the lack of compatibility with older Bose home-theater products.

Overall, Bose appears to be making a serious push back into the high-end home speaker market with a cleaner design, improved smart-home support, and a modular system that can expand from a single speaker to a full surround-sound setup.

If you’re comparing Bose against Sonos or other smart speaker brands, this launch is one of Bose’s biggest home-audio releases in recent years.
