MEDITATION FOR TODAY
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 (KJV).
THE CORNERSTONE OF FAITH: Life is challenging, so we can easily get distracted and allow circumstances to dictate our emotions. But if we operate that way, then we are only happy when life is good; we get frustrated when times are tough, and miserable when hardship spews. On the other hand, unwavering commitment to the Lord is a cornerstone of faith. When we are established on that foundation, we can focus solely upon God. In order to hold on to the Lord through any trial or temptation, we must be committed to trusting and following Him at all times. I pray that when we are overwhelmed by circumstances, our hearts will remain stayed on His promise to never leave us in Jesus mighty name! Amen.
