People think a quiet man is at peace.
They’re wrong.
He used to speak up.
Explain what hurt.
Try to fix what was breaking.
Fight for connection.
Until one day… he realized he was talking to someone who never listened.
Not because he stopped caring
But because repeating pain to the same person
started to feel like disrespect to himself.
Now he sits in silence.
Still there… but no longer present.
Getting dressed without explaining.
Mentally leaving long before his body does.

he’s already made peace with walking away.
