An X user has shared a deeply emotional story that’s resonating with many online.
According to the post, while most people disappeared after her father’s funeral, his best friend stayed — not for months, but for 14 years.
The two men had been friends for 40 years, and when her father passed away, his friend didn’t just offer condolences. He reportedly made sure all seven children graduated from university.
She added that the friendship didn’t end at the grave.
Till today, the man still checks in weekly, sending messages to ensure they’re okay, never allowing them feel like orphans.
