Women who get beaten by their husbands amaze me because you make his food, you can choose to be a widow – Ghanaian MC says

A Ghanaian Masters of Ceremonies and African fashion producer, Kwabena Gyam has expressed dismay at women who endure abuse in the hands of their husbands when they can “choose” to be widows instead.

He stated this after a soldier was captured in a viral video assaulting a drug store attendant and a female customer at a pharmacy located within Burma Camp in Accra. 

“Lowkey, women who get beat by their husbands amaze me because… you make his food, you can literally choose to be a widow,” he wrote on Thursday.
