
Makes: 2 to 4 Sandwiches | Prep Time: About 5 Minutes | Total Time: About 10 to 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- Lean ground beef (.454 kg / 1 lb.)
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 can (127 ml / 4 oz.) chopped green chilies (optional)
- 1 can (213 ml / 7.5 oz.) traditional pizza sauce
- 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- buns or bread (any kind you have)
HOW TO MAKE
- Cook beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Stir in sugar, green chilies (if using), pizza sauce and worcestershire sauce.
- Spoon equal amounts of meat mixture over buns (or bread slice, rice, wraps, lettuce leaf).
- Top with hot pepper rings – if you like your Sloppy Joe’s spicy
