Adegbola, 40, was charged with one count of m8rder after Stephanie’s body was discovered on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
He appeared in court for the first time on Saturday, October 25.
In a Facebook post dated October 19, 2024, Adegbola wrote: “At some point in life, you have to be okay with being the bad guy and never getting a chance to tell your own side. Anyone who will judge based off a single story is not who you want to be explaining yourself to anyway.”
The post elicited angry reactions from Britons, with some of them hauling abuses at Adegbola, calling him a m8rderer.
“M8RDERING Bastard hope you get what’s coming to you!!!! Actually disgusting,” one Jake James wrote.
“Let’s see how our English prison treat a woman m8rdering scumbag like you,” George Swain wrote.
“Well you certainly lived up to your status of being a bad guy didn’t you. You m8rdering bastard. I hope you never see daylight ever again. RIP to the poor girl whose life you ended!!! Your scum, let’s see how you like life in a English prison,” Louise Gunning wrote.
