A Nigerian woman, Ochuwa, is mourning the loss of her husband who d!ed five months after their wedding.

She shared the sad news post on Thursday, September 4, 2025 barely six days after she gushed about his deep love for her, describing it as healing and grounding.

“There’s love you hear about, and then there’s love you experience. I’ve never known a love that’s this grounding, this healing, this whole,” she wrote.

On July 12, she celebrated their three months wedding anniversary, writing: “3 months of being married to the love of my life, the one who makes forever feel easy. Here’s to always, Hayati.”

“And Allah took him away from me. My husband gave me the best 2 months of my entire life. He loved me so deeply & softly, and always made sure I knew it from his actions. You’re my soulmate in every lifetime, Hayati. We will be reunited insha Allah. Forever yours,” she wrote.

“Oh I was loved. And I’m thankful I always showed you how deeply I loved you too, Hayati. I never held back. We have ZERO bad memories together. You made sure of it. You brought light to my life & everyone around you. Your love made me a better person. Forever yours.”
