Swiss company Ulyssia Residence AG, in collaboration with acclaimed yacht designer Espen Øino, has a 1,050-foot solution that might just appeal to everyone, even those who believe the world cannot be improved. Introducing the Superyacht Ulyssia, a luxury vessel that surpasses even the mighty Titanic. With 132 opulent residences, this floating wonder offers a one-of-a-kind view of the world and a lifestyle that only a fortunate few may be able to afford and proudly call their own. More details were revealed at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, and this extravagant way of life will be available for purchase this September, with the vessel scheduled to launch in 2029.

However, the people behind Ulyssia prefer not to call her a cruise ship, because she isn’t one. It will be the world’s largest yacht designed for continuous travel, where yachting enthusiasts live aboard and chart their own itinerary. This floating community brings together people bound by a shared passion for travel and discovery. Life aboard Ulyssia won’t feel very different from life in a beautiful home. The vessel offers 133 residences and 22 guest suites, with living spaces ranging from 110 to 953 square meters. Residents can choose between one- to six-bedroom configurations, featuring reception rooms, open-plan kitchens, and terraces. Each home will reflect the taste of its owner, with interiors designed by FM Architettura and other design firms.

The lifestyle is equally focused on well-being. According to Boat International, Swiss-based Chenot will manage the health and wellness offerings onboard, which include a full-service spa, fitness and sports centers, and dental care. A fully equipped medical facility with cutting-edge technology such as X-rays, MRI and CT scanners, endoscopy, and ultrasound equipment will also be available.

As essential as health is, education is not compromised either. Regardless of where residents are watching the sunset, Ulyssia ensures access to quality learning. Educational resources will include destination experts, lectures, and facilities for homeschooling children. EYOS Expeditions will serve as the vessel’s expedition partner. “Part of the concept is to have a diverse community, both age-wise and geographically. We want to enable people with families to live on board as well,” said Binder, one of the first to buy a residence.
