There Is An Even Faster Chiron Super Sport

In 2019, a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ broke the 300-mile-per-hour barrier and the company went on to create just 30 models for lucky customers. Le Mans winner and Bugatti test driver Andy Wallace took this special Chiron to a speed of 304.773 mph, making it the fastest Bugatti in the company’s history. The Super Sport 300+ also had 1,578 horsepower but had a number of changes to help it achieve its colossal top speed.

The Chiron Super Sport 300+ Was Strictly Limited To Just 30 Units
Bugatti engineers developed a new thermal management system for the hypercar’s engine and gearbox and also adjusted the software governing the gearbox, engine, powertrain, and turbochargers. The 300+ also uses exposed carbon fiber throughout, including the engine cover, and even the windscreen wiper, which helps to reduce weight. The 30 Super Sport 300+ were built at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim, France, but despite a price tag of 3.5 million euros ($3,795,000), were quickly sold out. Unfortunately, there is no official quarter-mile time for the 300+.
