Some one says: I am a Davido fan, but I’m very disappointed after hearing all the things he did to this young artist Ruger. For years now, Ruger made it clear that he is a Wizkid fan. He even went on Twitter to tell fans that he wanted to inherit Wizkid’s fan base when he retires from music.
He announced with no fear that he will be releasing an album the same month with Davido, and few weeks later, he contacted Davido to ask for a verse on his album.
What Davido did was shocking! Davido gave him the verse and told him to take all royalties from the song when the album is out! As it stands now, Ruger will be featuring both Davido and Wizkid on his incoming album “Blownboy Ruger”.
If Davido was the kind of person that takes things to heart, he would have refused to give Ruger the verse or allow him to release the song but baba ‘say no wahala, keep the royalties’!
Davido has proven to us once again that he has a heart of gold and wants everyone to win regardless of their favorites!
