Headed into LVMH Watch Week—a fair showcasing releases from industry stalwarts like TAG Heuer, Zenith, and Hublot—no one would have expected Louis Vuitton to emerge as the most talked-about brand. But the luxury house’s pieces, like the Tambour Taiko Spin Time, stole the show. My personal favorite was the Drag Hour Tambour, which saw LV’s tentpole watch remade with a smooth golden shell and the delightful “jump hour” complication (which refers to the window at 12 o’clock where the hour springs into the correct position).
